Not Mission Accomplished.  But…

Submitted by Atlas Indicators Investment Advisors on September 30th, 2024

Revisionist History

Submitted by Atlas Indicators Investment Advisors on August 27th, 2024

Our nation is in the midst of history.  We are under 80 days from the next election, including that of the future President of the United States.  Campaigns are in full swing, and so is story telling.  History is being told with a bit of revisionist flair, not unlike prior campaigns filled with promises and less-than-accurate recollections of earlier accomplishments.

On Top So Long It Looks Down from Here

Submitted by Atlas Indicators Investment Advisors on November 3rd, 2023

The line "been down so long it looks like up to me" is often associated with the world of traditional blues music.  Themes of hardship, suffering, and resilience are common, and the line offers a potential glimmer of hope.  Despite some effort, Atlas was unable to find an exact origin of this phrase.  The term did, however, become more widely known through Richard Fari&

Stephen Stills a Johnny Paycheck

Submitted by Atlas Indicators Investment Advisors on June 28th, 2023

In the late 1970s, Johnny Paycheck released his iconic song, "Take This Job and Shove It," resonating with workers back then who felt trapped and dissatisfied in their employment.  Fast forward to today, and the dynamics of the job market have undergone a significant transformation.  With recent shifts in the economy, we find ourselves needing to change the tune of Paycheck&
