Fourth of July

As the Fourth of July approached, America’s sky prepared to display vividly colored fireworks in rhythmic fashion, a spectacle that reminds one of the ebbs and flows of our economy.  Just as fireworks launch into the night, so too does our economic activity, bursting with energy and brightness during periods of prosperity.

As fireworks are being prepared to illuminate the night sky this coming Fourth of July, Atlas wants to take a moment to reflect on the dynamism and resilience of the American economy - a spectacle as breathtaking, varied, and evolving as the pyrotechnics that celebrate our nation's independence.

Here we are at the beginning of the Fourth of July Holiday weekend in America.  With a long weekend, many will visit friends and family.  With travel volumes expected to be elevated, one’s odds of finding themselves in traffic is high.  You know that feeling; you are motoring down the highway, just slightly above the posted speed limit, and then the brake lights light up.&n
